Fright Nights Fear Tower

Something Moves in the Walls...

In the late 1920s, a charismatic and heretical occultist named Dr. Lysander Krowe arrived in town under the guise of a spiritualist healer. Drawing followers from the fringes of polite society—disgraced academics, wealthy eccentrics, traumatized war veterans—he founded a secretive cult known as The Order of the Hollow Star.

Krowe taught that reality was a lie—a meat-prison constructed by false gods. His goal was to pierce the “Veil of Delirium” and make contact with what he called The Exarchs, inhuman intelligences that dwell just beyond the borders of sanity.

To do this, Krowe turned a multi-story building into a living machine—a ritual antenna tuned to the dark frequencies of the Void. Floor by floor, he imbued it with symbols, blood rites, and architectural alchemy, transforming its very geometry into a beacon.

On All Hallows’ Eve, 1932, the Order performed their final rite: the Rite of Hollow Ascension. Something answered.

Every member of the Order vanished. From the outside, the building looked unchanged—but locals began to hear chanting in the walls, lights moving behind boarded-up windows, and the cries of something wrong. No one who has entered since has emerged unchanged—if at all.

The building is no longer just haunted.

It is possessed.
